Rastriya Banijya Bank Ltd (RBBL) is all set to take the role of title sponsorship of the second edition of Youth Entrepreneurship Conference 2022. The main organisers will be National Youth Council which is a Government institution and Vishal Media Group, the private company.
An agreement to this effect was signed on Thursday by RBB Chief Executive Office Kiran Kumar Shrestha and Coordinator of organising committee Vishal Gaire. Executive vice chairperson of the council Surendra Basnet was present on the signing event.
“Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Economic Prosperity” will be the agenda of the conference that is expected to help create way forward for youth self-employment in the country, Basnet said on the occasion.
RBB ECO Shrestha said that the bank established 57 years ago has been supporting develop youth entrepreneurs by providing seed capital, training and necessary information and relevant knowledge. As such, the bank is supporting such useful activities. He, recalled that the bank had supported as the main sponsor of the first conference conducted in 2019.
The upcoming event will be instrumental in imparting financial literacy, extending access to banking and creating larger and strong national network of the youth, Shrestha added.
Coordinator of the proposed conference Gaire opined that this conference will help Government policies, programme and budget to review in favour of youth entrepreneurship in the country. This will also help promote start-ups in quality and quantity both, he said.
The proposed conference will be participated in by youth aspiring for entrepreneurship from all 77 districts of the country.
National Planning Commission and Province Bagmati Ministry for Industry, Commerce and Supply will also extend support as partners to the conference.
