The 19th Annual General Meeting of Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) concluded in Kathmandu on Sunday. Minister for Information and Communication Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, Minister for Industry and Commerce Dilendra Prasad Badu, former president of CNI Binod Chaudyary were among the distinguished guests who were present during the inaugural of the AGM. Prime Minister Deuba after inaugurating the AGM made public the budget implementation programme, prepared by the CNI for effective implementation of various subject matters included in the budget for the current fiscal year.
On the occasion ex-President of the CNI Haribhakta Sharma was honoured with CNI President’s Award. Ganapati Banaspati and Reliance Spinning Mills were also honoured with Export Award for the promotion of exports.
CNI President Agrawal has underlined the need to forge collaboration between private sector and the government for attaining economic prosperity in the country adding that the government alone cannot bring prosperity in the country.
