Embassy of India, Kathmandu has gifted 75 ambulances and 17 school buses on Sunday to various beneficiary organizations of Nepal. The keys were handed over by Ambassador Naveen Srivastava in the presence of Devendra Paudel, Minister, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology amidst a function, according to Indian Embassy sources.
The gifting of ambulances and buses also coincides with the commemorating of 75 years of independence of India.
This is part of the very robust and strong development partnership between India and Nepal which has a long history and legacy, remarked ambassador Srivastava. Appreciating India’s various ongoing development projects in Nepal Education Minister Poudyal said, these will continue to strengthen people to people connectivity and the bilateral ties between the two countries.
