Bhaktapur jolts with 4.7 Magnitude tremor

Kathmandu valley experienced a strong tremor early morning on Saturday as a 4.7 Magnitude aftershock of the 2015 Earthquake jolted the valley.

An earthquake measuring 4.7 Rector magnitude was recorded by the National Seismological Centre at 2.36 am with epicenter located at Bhaktapur district, 15 km east of the capital city.

The earthquake was so powerful that dragged many people out of their house in the wee hour. The earthquake was felt in and around Kathmandu valley. However, no damage of property or causality was immediately reported in the incident.

Many people wrote in the social media that it reminded them of the 2015 great earthquake.
