One of the most awaited fashion extravaganzas of the year, the graduation fashion show of Namuna College of Fashion Technology, NCFT has concluded in a grand way at the Soaltee Hotel, Kathmandu on April 6, 2022. The 16th graduation fashion show entitled Adwitiya Pratibimva unfolded the saga of creativity, innovation and imagination portrayed on the canvas of various fabrics, explored through various elements of design and variations, expressed in various moods of colours to make every single piece of clothing to have a magnificent and mesmerizing look.
This time the graduation fashion show had 82 graduating fashion designers presenting their splendid individual creativity in a spectacular way. The show had 82 designs of 82 graduating talents presented in eleven different sequences each having a masterpiece creative wear as the highlight of the collection. The collections were named as High fur nate, Pieces of a dream, Arte Rocoso, Chaotic Elysian, Etheral Abyssal, Apotelesm, Genere Fluido La Moda, Origami Delights, Sobhna Udhyan, Ambivalent and Divine Powers. The show was been directed and choreographed by media person and fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya. There were 23 female and 8 male models to showcase the fashion presentation on the runway. The models included both the professional models as well as the students of the college itself. The event was been organized and managed by 16th graduating batch and was powered by Benilli Motorcycles whereas Make-up Durbar was the grooming partner of the event.
The show also incorporated the launching of the first ever fashion catalogue published by Namuna College of fashion technology. The unveiling of the fashion catalogue was jointly been performed by Vice Chancellor of Purbanchal University Prof. Dr. Yadav Raj Koirala and Founder Principal of Namuna College Mrs. Gyani Shova Tuladhar.
During the show hosted by Miss Nepal International 2012 Suveksha Khadka, former Miss Nepal Anushka Shrestha, glamour photographer Raj Bhai Suwal, fashion designer Anu Shrestha, fashion stylist Neelima Tamang, Shakti Golyan from Golyan Group, educationist Jaya Pradhan, fashion educators Rajendra Singh, Kushma Shrestha and Nisha Shrestha, Diwakar Raj Karnikar from the Hidden Treasure, fashion entrepreneurs Maheshwor Shrestha and Rahul Man Shakya played the role of evaluators to judge the creations of the student designers.
