Inter-Province public transport fare hiked

The government has hiked fares for long-distance transport from one province to another. Following the hike in the price of petroleum products, the government had agreed in principle to increase the fare in line with the concept of an automated pricing system for fares. With the implementation of an automatic fare system, from now on, when the price of petroleum products will be reduced by five per cent, the fare of public transport will also be reduced. If the price of petroleum products is less than five per cent, the fare of public transport will not be used.
