MG ZS EV 2022 officially launched in Nepal

Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd., the sole authorized distributor of MG Motors in Nepal, has officially launched the MG ZS EV 2022 amidst a formal press event held in its showroom in Kathmandu Sunday. The event was followed by unveiling of price of the most awaited new varieties of MG EVs. It is available in two variants –with standard range and with long range. The MG ZS EV 2022 is available in two battery pack options; one with a 51.5 kWh Hi-Tech battery with a range of 319 KM drive by a single full charge and another with a 72.6 kWh battery with a range of 440KM drive by a single full charge. Both variants have ground clearance of 175 mm.

Paramount Motors has been distributing MG vehicles in Nepal for last 3 years. The electric version of MG is one of the best sold electric vehicles in Nepal. So far the distributor company has been successful to sale 1000 plus units of EVs.

Regarding the new face lift version of the MG EV which is attractive and equipped with more luxury than the previous one, the marketing wing of the distributor forecasts that around 2000 units will be sold in a year time. The wing also states that MG has been bearing a different quality and image in the market. So that even there are some other EVs are available in the market, MG does not have any competitive situation. MG Motor UK Limited (MG Motor) is an automotive company headquartered in London, England, and a subsidiary of SAIC Motor UK, which in turn is owned by the Shanghai based -based Chinese state-owned company, SAIC Motor. MG Motor designs, develops and markets cars sold under the MG marque, while vehicle manufacturing takes place at its factories in Europe and China.
