As Covid cases slows down Pashupati opens for public

As the number of Covid cases in Nepal has declined significantly the authorities have decided to reopen the Pashupatinath Temple, the holy shrine of the Hindus from Friday. The Pashupatinath Temple has remained closed for the past few months due to the fresh wave of Covid 19. According to the Pashupati Area Development Trust, the temple is being opened as per the new order issued by the District Administration Office, Kathmandu. The DAO on Monday directed to allow activities like worship, meditation or prayer in places like monasteries, temples, mosques, monasteries and churches by following health safety protocols. Meanwhile, Nepal on Sunday reported less than 500 new cases of Covid – 19.
