Sandhya wins Miss Gurung Int’l title

Sandhya Gurung, 21 year old beauty from Ilam district in Eastern Nepal, has won the title of Miss Gurung International 2021 during the grand finale organized in Rastriya Naachghar, Jamal Kathmandu on December 12. Similarly, Janaki Gurung, 19, and Prasansa Gurung, 17, both from Gorkha won first and second Runner Up titles while Subhechha Gurung, 17, from Pokhara was declared the Third Runner Up during the show participated in by 14 beautiful Gurung girls aged between 16 and 26.

The first three winners received Rs. 100,000, Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 25,000 cash prizes along with certificates. One of the winners will get the air ticket for Bangkok trip while another one will get the chance for an Europe tour, according to the organizers. Mrightrishna Fashion House, the organizer of the show distributed in total Rs. 10 lakh awards for the winners with the support of various national and international sponsors. The Miss Gurung International Season 4 was organized after a gap of two years due to the global outbreak of corona virus.

The show organized by Ms. Trishna Gurung on behalf of the Mrightrishna Fashion House was choreographed by Rana Bikram Shah.

The panel of judges for the season 4 include LBZ Gurung (Lal Bahadur Gurung), President NRN, UK (England), Krishna Gurung, President Manang Group and Football Nepal, Manju Gurung, President Pourakhi Nepal, Subhash Gurung, Director, Gurung Movies and Anil Gurung chief advisor, Universal Body Guard Security Service, Pvt. Ltd.

Mrightrishna Fashion House is preparing to host Miss Gurung International Season 5 next year in a grand manner with the participation of contestants from Europe, USA, UK and Hong Kong as well, according to the organizer. For the purpose, the Mrightrishna has allocated different coordinators. Sundar Gurung and Bel Gurung have been appointed coordinators for Europe while Prem Gurung has been appointed coordinator for USA. Similarly, LBZ Gurung and Subhash Gurung have been appointed coordinators for UK and Hong Kong respectively. Trishna Gurung on December 22 hosted a reception party to celebrate the successful conclusion of the Miss Gurung International 2021 at Little Buddha in Thamel, Kathmandu. Besides the four winners, judges, choreographer and some journalists were also invited during the celebration.
