Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale has underlined the need to develop the tourism sector in Sudurpaschim as the region’s arts, culture and tourism is not widely known to the rest of the country.
Speaking at a program organized by CPN (Unified Socialist) in Jorayal Rural Municipality Monday, Minister Ale said that he will not let the Sudurpaschim Province lag behind as the province is rich in terms of art, culture and tourism. Stating that the federal and the provincial government has allocated the budget for development projects in the region, Minister Ale called the local residents to monitor the development works for their timely completion.
During the programme minister for internal affairs and law of Sudurpaschim Province, Purna Joshi said that the process of development in the province has been felt by the local residents of the region. “The local residents of rural communities have felt the changes in the province through development projects. The province will be developed as per the expectation of the local people,” he noted.
The process of creating employment in the province should be initiated as the number of youth leaving the country for India in search of employment is still very high, remarked District Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist), Dhirgaraj Bogati.
