“Dashain Tihar” Trade Fair was launched at City Centre at Kamalpokhari in Kathmandu on Wednesday at the initiative of Nepal Womens’ Chamber. The trade fair is being organized with the objective of promoting organic agro-products produced within Nepal. Speaking on the opening of the trade fair president Nepal Womens’ Chamber Urmila Shrestha said that the trade fair being organized at the initiative of women entrepreneurs plays an important role in empowering Nepalese women. The trade fair will help in uplifting small scale industries at a time when the country is hard hit by covid – 19 pandemic. On the occasion chairman of Nepal Chamber of Commerce Rajendra Malla pointed out that women entrepreneurs should pay attention towards enhancing self-employment by manufacturing goods aimed at substituting imports.
