Nepal’s corona related death toll has crossed the 10,000-mark, following the continuous rise in infection cases in the country for the past four weeks. According to the latest data received from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Nepal reported 3,729 newcases of COVID-19 alongwith 1,885 recoveries and 25 deaths on Friday. With this, the country’s COVID-19 casetally has reached 777,589 including 665,548 recoveries and 10,019 deaths. A total of 9,493 PCR tests and 6,182 antigen tests were conducted on Friday. Of them 2,430 PCR tests and 1,299 antigen tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19, according to the ministry.
