Five major students bodies have decided to launch a protest against the dissolution of the House of Representatives
(HoR) in all 77 districts across the country.
A meeting of top leaders of Nepal Student Union, ANNISU (Revolutionary), ANNFSU, Socialist Student Union and Akhil Sixth held in the capital on Sunday decided to stage a joint protest against the House dissolution, informed GP

President Bidya Devi Bhandari had dissolved the lower house of Parliament at the recommendation of Prime
Minister KP Sharma Oli. A writ petition was then filed in the Supreme Court against the dissolution of House. A constitutional bench is currently conducting hearings on the writ petitions filed against the dissolution of parliament. The student unions have also urged one and all not to interfere in the independent decision of the court regarding the dissolution of HoR. They have also expressed confidence that the apex court would reinstate the dissolved parliament.
