Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 2,444 new cases of corona virus infections in the past 24 hours taking the country’s Covid-19 tally to 668,221 as of Sunday afternoon.
Similarly, the ministry recorded 3,853 recoveries and 42 deaths on Monday.
According to the latest data released by the Ministry, 6,648 PCR tests and 4,992 antigen tests were carried out on Monday. Similarly, Nepal’s corona recovery tally has reached 588,187 while the total number deaths have surged to 9,051. There are currently 35,075 COVID-19 active patients undergoing treatment in home isolation as well as institutional isolation. The Kathmandu Valley alone recorded 516 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday.
